Our venue is set in a beautiful 250 acre estate,featuring three trout lakes surrounded by woodland. We offer our clients an extensive range of activities and facilities to provide an ideal setting for a conference, team building event or a day of relaxed luxury and fun for host and guests. A Day in the Country has won several Marketing Week/Corporate Hospitality Association Awards and Certificates of merit during the last few years, including Venue of the Year (twice), Small Business of the Year and Event Managers of the Year.

A Day in the Country gives you much more than just a thrilling combination of countrysports,and pulse-racing motor sports. We offer a truly unique experience, giving you the opportunity to have a complete day of activities tailored to your exact specifications.Or you can combine your day with a conference in the morning followed by a variety of pursuits in the afternoon.







We like to work closely with you to design challenges that address your specific business goals in a lively context that is more tactical than physical. To this end, we have developed a ropes course that encourages team building, personal development and networking that’s not only different and challenging, but great fun too.

A Day in the Country is centrally located on the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire borders, just 5 minutes from J10 of the M40 and 25 minutes from J15a of the M1. The venue is approximately half way between London and the Midlands, with excellent motorway connections. There are regular rail services to nearby Bicester and Banbury.
