Bridge Build Team Building Challenge.
Teams are given various pieces of equipment including poles, planks and ropes. They have to build a bridge across an obstacle course. Their aim is to get themselves and a bicycle across the obstacle course without touching the ground. Each team member has to ride the bike through a slalom course and back again. The time stops once each team member is back at the starting post and the bridge has been de-constructed. This is a problem solving exercise that requires strategy, planning, communication and team co-operation to successfully complete the task. It is also ideal at highlighting leadership.
Below is an example of the team building exercises used for the Go-Cart Challenge but exercises can be tailored to suit any organisational issues, other activities can be added such as Dog Agility and Ferret Racing, Segway Vehicles and Sheepdog Handling and Duck Herding which can also be tailored to be team building:

A Day in the Country is centrally located on the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire borders, just 5 minutes from J10 of the M40 and 25 minutes from J15a of the M1. The venue is approximately half way between London and the Midlands, with excellent motorway connections. There are regular rail services to nearby Bicester and Banbury.
