Survival Training Spy Activity

Have guests got what it takes to survive? Can teams build a shelter to live outdoors, prepare and cook food on a fire or makeshift oven or even master night-time navigation? Spy Games have created a fantastic survival event at A Day in the Country which can be tailored to suit your exact requirements. It can involve the very basics such as constructing a basher for overhead cover, making fire with only a flint or wood and then learning how to catch their evening meal!

The programme can either be an afternoon, full day or better still, 24 hours where guests sleep out under the stars.

The event can start with teams navigating their way to various checkpoints to retrieve supplies and equipment. Next create a camp to provide communal eating and sleeping facilities. A few luxuries can be added such as two man tents or sleeping bags to make the night a bit more comfortable. The evening meal can either be 24 hour ration packs or you can cheat a little with a bbq or even a hog roast. A few games and beers around the campfire is a great way to finish off the night.

The following morning can either involve teams taking part in various challenges such as high/low ropes, obstacle course and climbing, or they can simply have a full English breakfast and then make their escape.

All the instructors are ex-military personnel who have extensive experience in surviving in extreme conditions from Arctic to Desert or Jungle. Spy Games and A Day in the Country will tailor a survival programme to suit your needs, aims and objectives.

The venue and activities were great and all the staff were excellent. We will almost certainly consider using the venue for a Barclays do.
