A venue with a difference

This is an ideal event for small or large groups and involves a two hour treasure hunt around our 250 acre estate. Guests are briefed on the activity and are given various items:
One instructor is assigned to each group. Groups set out from the main barn and are sent in different directions to various grid references where they must collect parts of their puzzle. At various grid references there will be different physical and mental tasks that the team will have to complete and will be timed on.
During the Treasure Hunt the instructor will also have a list of questions that they will ask the team, which can earn them bonus points for correct answers.
Once the teams have visited every grid reference they will need to come back to the barn to make up their puzzle, check they have taken all of the photos needed and have collected all of the items on the list. The winning team will be the one that has managed to do all of the above and will have been the fastest on the exercises during the Treasure Hunt.
A Day in the Country provides all equipment and instruction and full event management. There will be soft drinks at various points, guests will be given A Day in the Country hats which they can take home with them. Guests should wear long trousers and trainers or walking boots. They should also have suitable clothing for wet weather conditions.
