Activity day at A Day In The Country 2010

 

Sheep Shearing and Sheep Racing

A new and ewe-nique experience activity day for 2010. Our Kiwi shearer will hold the sheep while up to 5 people run the clippers over the sheep to get the wool off the sheep in one fleece. Points will be awarded for each person’s ability to get a close shave. The longer the wool the easier it is to spin. Six special Racing Sheep are raced over a furlong. There are six different breeds each numbered 1-6 all with different attributes, first past the post wins!

At A Day in the Country we offer a truly unique experience, giving you the opportunity to have a complete day of activities tailored to your exact specifications. Or you can combine your day with a conference in the morning followed by a variety of pursuits in the afternoon.
