A venue with a difference

Gold Rush – a finale exercise.
Gold has been discovered at Upper Aynho Grounds and your team want to claim the area. However, the corrupt officials (us) will only register a claim upon receipt of a bribe of gold to the value of £2,000. You have a map of where the gold has been found and what quantities are available where, but you know your rivals have an identical map.
This is a more competitive exercise as teams compete against each other head to head. The exercise relies on colleagues working together as a team. It also highlights individual’s strength and weaknesses as some may be better at map reading than others. It will also encourage team members to be considerate of others as it involves orienteering and some members will be fitter than others. However, this exercise does not require above average fitness level.
