A venue with a difference

Ropes Course
A Day in the Country has developed a Ropes Course on its 250 acre estate that encourages team building, personal development and networking as well as having fun by doing something completely different and challenging.
The Ropes Course is one of the most exciting and physical programmes that can be offered. Teams climb near the ground and high in the trees on ropes, cables, planks and pegs. The challenges call upon every team member to participate, presenting opportunities for self-discovery and team growth. A Day in the Country works closely with you to design challenges that address your specific business goals in a lively context that is more tactical than physical.
The Ropes Course has been engineered, designed and constructed by a British Company who are leading adventure construction specialists in Europe. Safety is our number one priority; therefore our instructors are experienced and well qualified.
The course can also be hired to training and development organisations or in-house trainers who wish to design and deliver their own programmes under the supervision of our professionally qualified technicians. The facilities at A Day in the Country include a conference suite that is situated in a modernised 17th century barn with open fireplaces.
A Day In The Country has provided award winning Corporate Hospitality, Activity Days, Conferences , staff days and Team Building Days for over a decade in the UK.
Below is a selection of the most popular team building activities and ropes courses that we can offer at A Day in the Country. A team building program can be designed to incorporate and encourage team work, leadership, communication, innovation, decision-making and delegation. The program will be tailored to match the group's general fitness level and can be biased towards serious team building or fun.
If one of our programmes does not meet with your needs, then we will be delighted to quote you a special day combining ropes courses and team building activities for a multi activity day. We would also be pleased to quote for any other activity not mentioned here.
