A venue with a difference

The Chasm
A team element requiring the group to really think about how they overcome barriers by working effectively together. The exercise involves crossing a notional 'Chasm' by utilising strategically placed wooden platforms on the ground. The group can get across by staying off the ground using the resources provided, but the resources are only part of the solution. The true solution lies in their ability to work together and communicate whilst making the most of the limited resources. This exercise can be made more challenging by having two teams coming across the Chasm from different ends. This is an excellent developmental problem.
A Day In The Country has provided award winning Corporate Hospitality, Activity Days, Conferences , staff days and Team Building Days for over a decade in the UK.
Below is a selection of the most popular team building activities and ropes courses that we can offer at A Day in the Country. A team building program can be designed to incorporate and encourage team work, leadership, communication, innovation, decision-making and delegation. The program will be tailored to match the group's general fitness level and can be biased towards serious team building or fun.
If one of our programmes does not meet with your needs, then we will be delighted to quote you a special day combining ropes courses and team building activities for a multi activity day. We would also be pleased to quote for any other activity not mentioned here.
